Blinds Online

Blinds Online came to us with a clear vision: streamline their digital experience while simplifying their internal operations. We delivered a modern, user-friendly website built on the Umbraco CMS - designed to make browsing and purchasing custom blinds online effortless for customers across New Zealand.

But the real transformation happened behind the scenes. We developed a powerful, custom backend system that centralises and automates key workflows - from managing customer enquiries and generating quotes to handling orders and coordinating with installers. The system also includes automated email communications based on set timelines, helping the team stay responsive and organised at every step of the process.

The result? A sleek, responsive website paired with an intelligent backend that supports Blinds Online’s business growth and enhances the customer journey from quote to installation.

NEXT Foundation

We worked with NEXT Foundation to design and develop a digital platform that encapsulates their journey of strategic philanthropy in New Zealand. As a spend-down foundation investing $100 million over ten years into environmental and educational initiatives, it was essential that their website not only reflected their impactful legacy but also served as a resource for future changemakers.

Our approach focused on creating a clean, intuitive user experience that highlights NEXT's mission, milestones, and the communities they've supported. We implemented a flexible content management system, enabling the NEXT team to seamlessly share stories, updates, and reflections as they transitioned toward their sunset phase.

Trusted Partners, Working Quietly in the Background

A lot of the work we do doesn’t carry our name - and that’s exactly how it’s meant to be. Through white label consulting and project management, we support our clients from the inside, helping shape and deliver great work as part of their team. Below are a few examples of where we've made that happen.

Liz was engaged by Change Transformation agency to work with one of their clients, a financial institution, to assume leadership of a pivotal web design and development project following the unexpected resignation of the original project team shortly after initiation. The project's objective was to develop a dynamic, CMS-powered website seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and various backend systems. Drawing upon her extensive expertise in web development and CRM integration, Liz successfully guided the project from its early stages to completion, ensuring robust connectivity between the new website and the institution's internal systems. Her effective management not only revitalized the stalled initiative but also delivered a resilient digital platform that enhanced customer engagement and streamlined operational processes.

Liz went on to successfully project managed several strategic initiatives for the same financial institution, enhancing its compliance and operational efficiency. One of her key projects involved managing the development and implementation of a Fair Conduct Programme (FCP) in alignment with New Zealand's Conduct of Financial Institutions (CoFI) regime. This initiative was crucial for the institution to meet the requirements for obtaining a financial institution licence under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, ensuring adherence to the fair conduct principle and fostering consumer trust .

Liz also performed the role of Product Owner within the Business unit of a NZ owned bank. Her role focused on uplifting the team’s delivery capability and setting the foundations for future growth. Working closely with internal stakeholders, she helped define priorities, maintained strategic alignment to OKR’s, streamline processes, and start building new features to enhance and expand the business banking portfolio.

These projects collectively demonstrate Liz's ability to lead complex compliance and operational initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting efficient, customer-focused financial services.

"There is no such thing as a boring project. There are only boring executions."
